1 Vehicle Shudder problem

Failure Date: 02/08/2019

Tl the contact owns a 2012 Chevrolet Cruze. While driving, the check engine indicator illuminated. The contact stated that the vehicle jerked and shuddered, and the transmission shifting was affected. The contact provided the dealer (turner Chevrolet, 1251 paxton st, harrisburg, PA 17104, (866) 629-7151) with engine codes: p015b (O2 sensor delayed response for oxygen sensor) and po171 (bank 1 system 2 lean). The dealer was supposed to call the contact back to explain the codes. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified. The failure mileage was 96,600.

2 Vehicle Shudder problem

Failure Date: 01/03/2015

Driving on the highway at roughly 70mph when car shuddered, and lost power immediately. After this the car would not accelerate. Fortunately there were no vehicles directly behind me, so I was able to p;ull over to the side of the road. The check engine light was illuminated and the dashboard read three errors: "engine power is reduced", "service traction control", "service stabilitrack". After turning the car off, waiting, and turning back on the vehicle worked correctly, but the issue occurred after another 15 minutes on the road. I drove in the right lane the rest of the way home to ensure our safety, and this occurred 4 times in total. This was an extremely dangerous situation during a busy holiday travel weekend. Had this occurred at the wrong time, this could have been catastrophic. Quick research online has shown this to be an issue with the make and model, as many other people have reported this exact defect.

3 Vehicle Shudder problem

Failure Date: 08/21/2013

While pulling into parking space crawling into position the brakes failed and the car vibrated and lunged forward crashing into a brick wall. The brake pedal went all the way to the floor the car then began to vibrate then accelerate forward hitting brick wall. I believe that the turbo charge engaged because of the vacuum boost failed causing the turbo to engage. Filed complaint with gm no luck said it was driver error. Needless to say we are repairing the car then trading in. I have contacted local media can't seem to get any help. We have been loyal chevy owners for over 20years never again. I think the public needs to be warned before someone gets killed. If someone was walking across the front of the car they would have died.
