The veh started with a small water leak, then a very large leak. Found out that the water pump was bad and the thermostat was bad. The windshield wiper fluid holder has a large crack in it. The vehicle still needs maintenance on it and can't afford it. No photos to share but receipts of my bill to replace it.

Upon leaving a store the car began to slow down as the front passenger side wheel began to wobble. I pulled into a parking lot, stopped then reversed slowly then pulled forward slowly when a patron exiting the store said stop. Once I exited my car I noticed the passenger front wheel seemed dislocated from the vehicle. Then transmission fluid begin to leak from the under the car of the dislocated wheel. In the pictures the car is parked straight but front passenger side wheel is turned outward.

I noticed that my vehicle seemed to be having issues when I pressed on the brake, so I took it in. I found out that it was a completely unrelated issue, and had to do with a crack running through the manifold. This was causing oil and coolant to leak onto the alternator. If I had not caught this early enough, they said I would have not been able to get it fixed. They repaired the leak, but a couple weeks later I noticed my car losing significant amounts of coolant/oil. This is causing oil and coolant to affect the turbo setting of my manual car, and has cost me up to $2,000 in repairs. This has been the underlying problem as to why I had to get my flywheel replaced 2 years ago, which was another $1,500. This is also what caused the transmission failure 3 years ago, another thousand dollars. I noted that the vehicle began leaking fluid after being stationary or moving while/after running for 10 minutes or longer.

(this letter is about holding individuals accountable for their responsibilities. ) we purchased a new car in 2012 a chevy Cruze , the transmission failed on 7-15-2017 it needs a rebuild . ( this to us is unacceptable ) we have never had a vehicle with this issue . We always take care of preventive maintenance on time and when it's due. The fluids in this car are never low or leaking , it never pulls or hauls loads, it's never abused or overheated to cause this issue. We had the car towed by aaa 7-17-2017 to master transmission in rosemount mn , after learning this will cost $3500. 00 to repair , we called Chevrolet customer assistance center at 1-800-222-1020 on 7-18-2017 talked to arleen, we explained our situation she took our information , gave us a case # 8-3096863922, she said she could help, they will take care of this and not to worry. She transferred us to gm roadside assistance and they towed the car to valley Chevrolet dealership in hastings mn. On 7-20-2017 this dealership called us and said they received an email from Chevrolet stating Chevrolet will pay zero for this repair. The problem is ( why did they say they can help & will take care of this ) then tow the car willingly to the dealership and then reverse their decision ? on top of all this the dealership wants even more money over $3700. 00 to repair. This Chevrolet corporation made our situation even worse because they don't stand behind their product or words. It's a higher repair at dealership and they willingly towed the car to dealership and now want us to pay tow back to rosemount mn . We never knew we were buying a $20,000. 00 disposable vehicle. We have (2 ignition keys) 1 broke in half under normal use , the other key has a fracture on the verge of snapping in half from normal use.
Stabili trak check engine light and error message transmission fluid leakage out of bottom of vehicle on driver side causing strong burning oder inside car while in motion car seems like it gore into neutral not allowing driver to push gas. Immediately get to a safe place and cut vehicle off to avoid excessive damage, if on busy road or freeway be very careful not sure what happens at regular speed of road or freeways . I was in a school zone and received police assistance for traffic control.
This car has had several problems. They have had to replace a vacuum pump, the engine shield recall, the brakes stick, there is a horrible smell of hot transmission fluid constantly, the transmission coolant lines have been replaced, a pump above the fuel tank has been replaced, the car surges and causes the rpm gauge to bounce, the axles have had leaks fixed, the exterior trunk button doesn't work, driving down the road it sounds like a plastic bottle is stuck inside the passenger side front door, some times after putting the key in the ignition it won't turn, the suspension system pops and cracks, the axle squeals, shifts at inappropriate times or not when it is supposed to, the back up sensor will beep when nothing is there some times, doesn't feel like there is any pressure behind the brakes some times, and smoke row out from under the hood when stopped at stop lights some times. I think that is every thing but it has been a constant nightmare. I am guessing on miles and dates, but it was not very long after I got it brand new that it started having problems. When I started having shifting and leaks in the transmission, the dealership couldn't figure out what was wrong, I had to point out the leak myself and then he said he would get the parts ordered and they would be in within 3 days. 2 weeks later I called gm, then it was within a week I was contacted by the dealer that they had the parts, after gm said someone would contact me within 48 hours. This has been such a hassle I am now vehicle shopping and will not purchase another Chevrolet.
