The contact's finance leased a 2020 Chevrolet Equinox. The contact stated that the vehicle would wobble uncontrollably upon hitting a bump while driving at high rates of speed without warning. The contact took the vehicle to Chevrolet 112(2096 NY-112, medford, NY 11763) where a mechanic informed him that they were aware of the failure; however, there was no remedy for the defect. He was also informed that they would have an interim repair for the failure which they would release in the first part of 2021. The contact then informed the dealer that he no longer wanted to lease the vehicle; the contact was then directed to the manufacturer for assistance. The manufacturer was informed of the failure and gave him the same information as the dealer; they offered no further assistance. The vehicle had yet to be repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 3,500.

It keeps cutting off and the oil keeps going empty some say recall 11195a mite be the promblem but I dont know jus got the car and when I start it up the peddle gets stuck and starts rite back up in motion and soon as you back up and soon as you trun out it cuts off on the high way and on city street and turing.

The contact owns a 2020 Chevrolet Equinox. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the vehicle would wobble when traveling up an incline without warning. The contact stated that the wobble ceased upon depression of the brake pedal. I had my Equinox repaired under the recall for oil consumption, yet it is still burning oil. The heat and ac are not working properly, to get heat I have to turn the dial back and forth and maybe it will work most of the time I have to drive about a half a mile for it to blow heat. The ac is just not working at all. The info panel in the center of the dash will go out and come back on later. While driving, the car will just slow down like I'm not pressing the accelerator at all. The transmission seems to get stuck in a gear causing the rpms to rise and stay until I take my foot off of the accelerator. The car makes a clicking sound when turning. It shakes at 60 mph. Also I have replaced headlights 2 times in the last year.

2008 Chevrolet Equinox sport makes a loud popping/clunking noise in the front end when going over bumps. It also pops loud when turning the steering wheel. When I am driving on straight and smooth roads, there is no issue whatsoever. I have taken my vehicle to four different shops and had it looked at by eight different mechanics and no one can figure out the problem. This needs to be fixed by general motors immediately! I strongly feel that this can become a serious safety issue.

The manufacturer was made aware of the failure but did not assist. The failure mileage was approximately 140,000. Aw.

Alot is going on with my 2010 chev my exhaust pipe crack and I was told that is a real problem with chevy's my car is consuming way to much oil I constantly have to get oil changes. My driver side head light keeps going out I'm changing my head light 2-3 times a year. I replaced my spark plugs and coils a few months ago and my car when I'm driving it will stop and the wheel will lock up while I'm driving it .

Oil consumption high, metal particles in oil, cv axel joint bad.

I hit a hole and my passenger front tire and rim were damaged and I could not move car, had car towed. The dealership claimed the only damage was to the wheel, rim and needed an alignment. Two days later front drivers side making a loud noise, shaking when driving and noticed it was leaking a fluid. Returned to dealership, resubmitted to insurance company. Insurance would not pay stayed wear and tear. They found play in front links. Need to replace both front stabilizer links , left front axle seal leaking, replaced axle seal and axle. My car had 29000 miles and regular maintenance and tire rotation. Not understanding why this is wear and tear especially 1 week after bumper to bumper expired and car was in for service and check two weeks prior. Either chevy or insurance company is a fraud!!! can provide pictures and documentation.

The drive shaft fell out of the vehicle on 07/2019 and an independent mechanic deemed the vehicle undrivable on 12/23/19. The contact called the state police for vehicle fraud an dwas still waiting for a callback. The contact also contacted county attorney general an received no assistance. The dealer tried to repocess the vehicle the next day but was unsucessful. The failure mileage was 114,000. Tf.

I am not exactly sure what it is that's wrong with my car it has to do with my brakes and the pedal. . I thought the brake pads were bad. When I changed them it had almost brand new ones on. . My traction control light stays on and my abs light stays on. . The pedal has hard spots in it and it just grinds like the pads are bad when I hit my brakes! its not safe and I don't know what's wrong with it! my research shows I'm not the only one with this car that has the problem. Its been a problem for a bit now. . I just bought this car and very disappointed. . I have 2 kids and can't even fix my brake problem because I don't know what to fix and can't afford to to replace it all. . The problem is mainly when driving slow through towns the brakes pedal locks and it grinds and I have to pump it several times to try and get it to work. . Then I have to my e brake if it don't. . "takata recall" my 2013 is having problem with exhaust system from converter back which the smell is backing up into the inside cabin of vehicle. I have noticed that this must be a common problem on these vehicles (equinox). I have relatives that are experiencing the same problem with their 2010''s. I noticed the problem because the vehicle started sounding loud when parked and when taking off no speed, compared to when I first purchased. I take very good care of my vehicle. . . . Regular oil changes and no major work needed done since my purchase.

My son was in an accident oct 26, 2018 @ approximately 7:30 pm. . He was turning left on highway rt. 50 in mt. Storm, wv with signal light on to pull into a parking lot. A truck driving at a high rate of speed from behind attempted to pass him on the left even though my son was already turning left. The truck hit directly on his front left tire by a vehicle driving at a high rate of speed. The frame was damaged and we are unsure of additional damages until the insurance adjuster inspects it. The side airbag did not deploy resulting in my son hitting the side window and diagnosed with cervical sprain. Driver was drinking and admitted to driving 65-70 mph. Police report was filed and firefighters arrived.

"takata recall" stability traction control indicator lights. No warning for brake problem. The brakes locked up and wouldn't stop or slow the car before entering a curve on a major highway.

1. My abs and traction control light come on almost everytime I drive the car. Most of the time they come on for no reason, just driving on smooth/good road conditions they come on or pulling out of a driveway. 2. Doesn't matter if the abs light is on or off, I've had to smash down on the brake pedal numerous times so I don't hit the car in front of me because the breaks feel like they aren't grabbing. Luckily my daughter wasn't in the car any of the times it's happened. I had the car looked at by a technician at a chevy dealership and he found no issues with the brakes. 3. The front end of this vehicle is horrible. I've replaced the front hubs recently, and that did no good with either of these issues. 3. I was going through a drive thru, and all of a sudden the e-brake light came on, loud sound came out of speakers when I turned the wheel, and a number of lights on the dash came on. Luckily got out of the drive thru, and shut the car off, and it wouldn't turn back on. It jumped started but we figured out that the wire from the started to the alternator was loose and causing it to not charge the battery. We tightened it down and it fixed that problem. 4. I got into my car, started it up, and went to reverse and there was no power steering. I pulled back into the spot and turned off the car & then back on & it came back. My husband was just driving the car before me and he had no issues. I hope there is something recalled on this car. I've seen so many people with these same type of complaints. It's dangerous!!!.

I bought the car 2 years ago, in which the vehicle had/has nonconformed issues since the immediately after the sale of purchase. The car has been in the shop (and is currently there) for 2 years. I have been paying for my own transportation(lyft, car rentals, etc) in addition to my car payments for over a year.

When I bought the car a year ago after about 4 months in I started to notice a noise every time I turned left. It was a small noise so I didn't think much of it. I checked to see if there were any recalls and there are none. Now it is more noticable but the car is driving fine unless I make a left turn it's like a slight clicking noise. Has there been any other complaints about this happening because the car should not be doing this. I have only had it a year. Other than this issue the car runs great.

I was driving the car and the traction/stabilizer control turned on with the engine light and a message stated slowing down. Then the truck stayed at 20mph, I was kinda on the highway and almost hit someone. The engine sound good. Other people online have the same issue. Why is it not a recall.

I bought this car used in 2026 I have not had it a year yet and after the first month it has been in for repairs, the wheels sounds like they are coming off at times, it sounds like something is dragging underneath, brakes scrubs even with my placing new one on, sometime it feel like transmission is going out, it pulls hard at time. Even tho this car is old can I still take it in for recall problems. I was not told about any recalls when I bought this car, I paid $3500 and I feel I have almost paid this much in repairs,all of this happens when car is in motion. On highway​, streets and it pops sometime when making turns.

The vehicle wobbled at all speed, the contact had the road master all terrain tow bar inspected at one unknown authorized road master location and the vehicle front end was also alignment at an unknown authorized the dealership. However, the tow bar was not defective and there was nothing wrong with the vehicle alignment. The contact believes that the wobble was caused because the vehicle is equipped with a four cylinder that caused the power steering to be unstable. The manufacturer was not notified. Driving back from el paso I felt a small vibration 1/4 of the way on a trip back from el paso to phx. The vibration became stronger the farther I went. I checked and the left rear tire was separated. This was the second tire that has separated in a two week period. The previous was replaced by the dealership.

I was driving on the highway when the vehicle lost power and started shaking realy badly. . . I would push on the gas to try to gain power but the vehicle did not respond. I exited to the nearest autozone and had it testes. . Something to do withe the gsr valve and throttle and fuel system. So I changed the parts that I could but now it's having the same reaction. Now the air conditioning is not working properly as well. I've had to buy tires but they keep wearing because something is wrong with the stability track. The air bags need service. And now just two days ago something is wrong with the speedometer. The motor also makes a weird sound. . . Over all I don't feel safe in my vehicle anymore. Now the vehicle still shakes and I have to buy tires again. It shakes very badly. Ai just did an oil change and it already needs more oil.

Pleae note I haveen complainign about this vehicle with other problems has bad front end parts . This time it wsa diagnosed with front edn oparts that could fall off front gears etc,I had just spent over $1000 omn the front end . Pleas enote in order to try to avid an accident in which nardone electric truck,boradsided my driver side on a complete screpedown on my vehicl, and afterward after I left the expressway 93 n in boston ,15 minutes later after I stropped at a conevncince store,my vehicle would not turn left or right only straight. . .

Received vehicle upon my mothers passing. Had 45k on it, garaged and only in town driving. In just over year I have had to replace rear rocker joint, ac unit, front right speaker, front brakes and starter. Now, there is a water noise under hood and truck is starting to rock when at stop light. It is also trying to run hot but no lights, leaks or issue can be found. The back spoiler was loose http before then and leaks in the back. Lift gate hard to open and moulding around front windshield is coming loose. I have 65k on this truck. There is no way this truck should have this many problems. I feel unsafe in this lightly used auto.

My center bearings were replaced about 3yrs ago thought it was a fluke though I had heard from many people that this was an ongoing problem. Clunking began under my car again so I knew what it was. Took it to the mechanic and the center bearings were broke again and the bearings and the back of the driveshaft also. The rear u joint was also broken. This is ridiculous as well as dangerous. I take good care of my car no running over logs in the woods or things of that nature how can this keep happening unless it is a defect or flaw in design. This time with the clunking my anti lock brakes were going off every time I stopped too. Mechanic had a hard time getting the parts to replace apparently everyone needs them but chevy sees no problem with this.
