Two problems related to fuel pump have been reported for the 2001 Chevrolet Express. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The vehicle stalled without warning. The driver tried to restart the vehicle and was not able to do so. The vehicle was towed to the dealer for inspection. The mechanic informed the driver that the fuel pump needed to be replaced. The fuel pump failed without warning.
Fuel pump and sending units malfunctioned. The consumer noted he could never tell how much fuel was in the vehicle. He believes the fuel sending unit should be recalled. He has spoken to ten other people with the same defect.
