Two problems related to ignition have been reported for the 2001 Chevrolet Express. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
While driving at 35 mph engine check light came on, and vehicle sputtered. Moments later vehicle stalled. This problem happened twice. Dealer blamed the problem on moisture in the distributor.
Consumer states an ongoing/intermittent problem with engine stalling upon starting. Vehicle has been to the dealer on two occasions and the problem is reoccurring for the third time. Dealer notified. Consumer states dealer replaced ignition, no stalling has occurred as of yet.
