One problem related to manifold/header/muffler/tail pipe has been reported for the 2001 Chevrolet Express. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Knocking on front end and faulty rear end. Parts were replaced twice on the front and rear end of the vehicle. The radio was replaced, the power steering was noisy, the mirror vibrated when traveling at a high speed. The exhaust system was emitting white smoke. The vehicle was taken to the dealer for repairs over 15 times.
