Tire Sidewall problems of the 2002 Chevrolet Express

Two problems related to tire sidewall have been reported for the 2002 Chevrolet Express. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Tire Sidewall problem

Failure Date: 03/04/2004

While driving at 65 mph rear driver's side tire blew out with warning. Consumer examined the tire, and discovered that the tire blew out at the sidewall.

2 Tire Sidewall problem

Failure Date: 02/24/2003

All 4 tires contained splits on the side wall, consumer was unable to drive the vehicle. Dot #'s: vn 11 b1c 4101, 1501, 3801, and 4001. Scc.
