Three problems related to electrical system have been reported for the 2014 Chevrolet Express. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Tl- the contact owns a 2014 chevy Express. The contact stated that the air bag warning light suddenly illuminated. The contact took the vehicle to the dealership (grand prize Chevrolet Buick GMC located at 32 rte 304, nanuet, NY 10954 854-367-7516) who diagnosed that the air bag sensor failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The failure persisted. The manufacturer was not contacted the approximate failure mileage 77,000.
Tl- the contact owns a 2014 Chevrolet Express. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 18v295000 (visibility) however, the parts to do the repair were unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The Chevrolet 112 located at (2096 NY-112, medford, NY 11763 (631) 317-2348) was contacted and confirmed tha tthe parts were not available for the recall remedy. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue and was not able to confirm when the parts were to become available. The contact had not experienced a failure. Currently have a recall on my vehicle (n172086770). Since the original recall in 2018, I've made several attempts with the general motors to have this issue repaired. As of this date, 7/12/2020, they have been unwilling to fix the problem. I have several case numbers with the company because I've had numerous conversations with them. They keep changing the case numbers in an effort to discourage me from having the problem (a problem they caused) fixed. Please reference dot reference number 9064677 filed on or around 6/8/2020.
