Turn Signal problems of the 2000 Chevrolet Impala

Tl- the contact owns a 2000 Chevrolet Impala. The contact stated while driving at various speeds the vehicle would suddenly shut off. Also the turn signal would intermittently malfunction and not operate. The cause of the failure was not determined. The local dealer and manufacturer was not notified of the failures. Turn signal not working right sometime they work and sometime they don't.

The contact owns a 2000 Chevrolet Impala. The contact stated that the turn signal does not operate properly in rainy conditions. The failure was noticed while driving 30 mph. The dealer advised him to activate the hazard lights each time the failure occurs. The current mileage is 140,000 and failure mileage was 100,000.

I own a 2000 Impala. From time to time, the turn signals will stop blinking or will not blink at all. If I turn the emergency flashers on and off, they will resume blinking. I know of a malibu with this same problem. When I mentioned this to the service department where I purchased the vehichle, they knew what the problem was but said there were only recalls on two models and mine was not one of them. This has not caused an accident but I think it is a safety problem.

Turn signals will not work most of the time. If you turn the hazard flashers on for a minute then turn them off the turn signals will work for a little while. This is a serious safety problem.
