Hi I purchased my Impala last year used and for about the first 6 months it ran fine. . . Now electrical panel goes on the fritz dimming my lights and dashboard. . . Power windows and mirrors not working. . . Also abs light and traction lights on consistently. . . Traction randomly activates and car lighters just stopped working. Something is wrong with this specific model and it really needs to be recalled. Also turn key to start car and the car doesn't start so I do this 2-3 times to start car up. . . Really needs to recall all 2005 Impalas.

I have another complaint about this vehicle and the list could go on. I purchased my vehicle and paid cash for it. About a few months ago my dash meters started going out. I have almost ran out of gas on may occasions with my children. The speedometer goes out and I have to keep up with traffic. Also my power steering pump decided that it wanted to lock up in the middle of a parking lot. It's leaking and messing up other parts of my car I believe. My car has been maintenance and cared for. These problem came out of no where without warning. They should be repaired by the makers and not the consumers. This is a safety hazard that warrants a recall.

Had to recently replace fuel ejection and other part for fuel leaking and fumes overcoming in car. Now the speedometer, fuel and tack gauge stopped working. Gm has not recalled this on the Impala and they are aware this is a problem but will not take responsibility. These issues have been a serious safety hazard for my daughter and cannot drive the car. Every chevy dealership and parts stores think there is a recall until they look it up. Thats how much they are aware of the issues. Once again ill have to pay approx. 300. 00 just for the part. Dorman oe solutions instrument cluster. How can we stop gm from getting away with this! we need help!.

I was merging and exiting off the expressway on my way to work and went to use my turn signal and it quit working. Upon arriving at work I tried it again and nothing. . . I then tried my other turn signal and hazard light also and they didn't work either. I do alot of expressway driving to different cities due to my job of which I have to change lanes and merge and turn quite frequently so this is a major concern with my turn signals and flasher not working.

The ignition on my chevy Impala will not turn. It is locked and will not turn. I have read of other sights that other Impala are having the same issue. The dealer is not helpful and tom gill Chevrolet in florence, ky said there were no recalls on my car. However, I saw one on the web. No wonder chevy is having issues with the recall the reps are not helpful and do not want to find a solution. The dealer says there was never a recall affecting my car.
