The contact owns a 2006 Chevrolet Impala. The contact stated the check air bag warning light illuminated. The dealer was notified who informed the contact that the air bag sensor module needed to be replaced. The manufacturer was notified who advised the contact that there were no related recalls. I was at a stop light and a SUV came from the other side spun passed me and then her rear hit me head on- causing 12,000 worth of damage--my concern is the air bags in my 3wk old 2006 chevy Impala did not deploy I was told that the sensors were just missed and I should be happy cause I could of been injured more than what had happened. Also my onstar was not activated-- I called them.
