While driving my 07' chevy Impala the temperature gauge arm often will drop to 'c' as if the engine temperature is cold, then the drivers information display panel will display a message "engine hot turn off a/c". I've had the thermostat replaced, radiator coolant drained and replaced, hoping to fix this problem, but I'm still dealing with it. After doing some research I'm finding that there has been other chevy vehicle owners dealing with this same issue, which is most likely a bad 'engine coolant temperature sensor (ect).
