The contact stated that he was able to continue to drive the vehicle. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and informed the contact that they could not assist because the VIN was not included in any recalls. The dealer was notified of the failure and informed the contact that the vehicle could not be repaired under NHTSA campaign number: 14v450000 (steering) because the VIN was not included in the recall. The contact stated that the failure had been reoccurring while driving and the steering was difficult to maneuver. The vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 118,000.
