I was driving on the highway and received the following message, service stabilitrak - reduced engine power. This has come up a few times. This time though while still driving my engine power was greatly reduced with the error, "starter disabled, service throttle". This led to a drastic decrease in speed with zero control over throttle and moved to the shoulder and the car rolled to a halt.

The traction control light and the abs light came on at the same time and its saying service tractioncontrol system/service stabilatrak system and also service assited brake control system I did some research and I found out this is a common problem with these cars and should be addressed by gm to be fixed at their cost not mine.

I have a traction control light on, also the abs light is on, and I get a stabilitrack warning.
We where coming home and heard a loud snap on my right side by the wheel and as we reduce speed the car starts to shake violently and the traction sensors went off the car reduced speed dangerously on the frw with traffic behind us and hard to steer. . . And moments after the car shut off.
When driving the warning sensor came on on saying power steering and stab track problem. I was on the highway and came inches from an accident. My steering was not normal and found it very hard to steer around car in front of me that slammed on breaks. Then I pulled over to see what was wrong and got warning that front camera wasn't working. . . I don't have a front camera! then when I backed out of that driveway it gave warning that my rear camera warning sensors were not working. I'm afraid to drive my car.
Bought car about 6 months ago had 52,000 miles on it seemed to be a decent car until today Dec 1, 2019 driving on the highway at about 70 miles an hour with ice covered roads power steering went out , and stabilitrak, a long with abs all at once and prompted service lights in dash and info screen power steering was so stiff I could barely turn or control car and almost slammed into median luckily not hitting another vehicle drove to nearest exit and turned car off turned back on after about 7 min and still same things in dash thankfully this didn't end worse my car can now barely steer and service lights are on going to try to see about talking to someone at dealership tommaro it seems a lot of people are having this problem with this car.
The service stabilitrak/abs/brake control lights turn on and off incessantly regardless of whether I'm moving, turning, breaking, etc. It's seemingly completely random. Every ime they do, the car dings, making the ride unbearable ("ding, ding, ding. . . Ding, ding, ding" ad naseum). This happened before and I had the vehicle serviced under warranty, a little over 1. 5 years ago. It's now happening again. Countless reports on forums indicate that it's a very common issue with the wiring harness going to the hub assembly. Gm should recall this. It's distracting, unsafe, and seemingly unfixable in the long term. This will be the second time I've fixed this in less than 50,000 miles driven.

Get abs, traction control, stable stability sensors on. In motion and when sitting still. Resets but comes right back on.
While driving my car to work on Tuesday 11-12-2019 at 6 am in the morning, my battery light came on then, message displayed battery saver active,ac hot shut off, traction on and reduce power, everything came on in dashboard and about 10 minutes later the whole system shut down, and car will not start back up. Had to get someone to jump start in order to start car back up it will run a period of time and it happen again even after replacing a new battery, starter and alternator I also taken it to dealer ship to run diagnosing test as well and they charge me for service although they said they didn't find anything wrong with charging system at all . But this occur during the busy time off the day and a lot of traffic.

The brake light in the window flashes on and off all the time and even when car is parked and shut off it flashes and when it is in motion. The cruise control will not work and device stability traction control warning is on and says it needs to be serviced. Vehicle only has 28000 miles on it.
Turn signals work intermittently for 6 years. Transmission makes squeak upon starting from dead stop after changing fluid and filter for 2nd time. Abs went out 6 years ago.

My check engine light came on while driving. I told my car to the mechanic and I was told my mass engine airflow needed to be replaced. Two days later the check engine light was on again. Return to the mechanic and was told my O2 sensors needed to be replaced. Replaced as recommended. I was driving down the highway and the light came on again along with a message that said reduce speed. At this point, my car slowed down by itself while I was going 60 miles per hour. I could not accelerate. Luckily there were no cars behind me. Reviewing the Chevrolet forums and Impala forums, this appears to be a known issue and gm is not doing anything about it. Reading some of the stories, I consider myself lucky. Airbag the passenger airbag light has come on and will not go off. I took it to the dealership, and they told me that if I am in an accident, the airbag will not deploy because the car isn't recognizing someone is in the seat. They said to me that gm issued a recall for this problem; however, my car was not included. I spoke with a gm representative who confirmed the recall. The gm representative said although the code is shown on the diagnostic performed at the certified dealer my VIN was not covered; however, they offered to cover half of my cost. He told me that if gm expanded the recall to include my VIN then I could send in my receipt for a refund.

Tl the contact owns a 2011 Chevrolet Impala. The contact state while driving 35 mph, the vehicle started hesitating. The contact was in the process of making a left turn when he heard an abnormal noise coming from the vehicle. The contact stated that change throttle body, service stability trac and service traction control warning lights were illuminated. The engine power reduced warning light was also illuminated. The vehicle was taken to autosmart - longview located at 1151 mccann rd, longview, TX 75601, (833) 586-2886 however, the mechanic was unable to duplicate the failure. The mechanic reset the check engine warning light. The contact stated that the failure recurred four times. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer had not been informed of failure. The failure mileage was 127,068.
When stabilizer light comes on, the vehicle jerks and the engine runs hard. It could come on while driving or when u turn on the car. Sometimes the stabilizer light turns off when shutting off the vehicle a few times. The vehicle would drink a lot of gas when the stabilizer is on.
The front hub assembly is continuously defecting. Inhave replaced both sides a minimum of 6 times since 2013. The steering goes out, the brakes grind the traction control initiates and in severe times I loose all power to vehicle. This is in motion. From complete stop to motion, while in reverse and while turning in iether direction.

On 1/29/16 my car died and towed to dealer where I was told I need a transmission. The car only had 69000 6months ago dash board lights lit traction control, reduced engine power service stabilitrack abs. When I would step on the accelaretor pedal it would make a winding noise go to the floor and pop back up again. As I was driving down the highway all of a sudden I had no acceleration car had died. L pulled to the side of the road a few minutes later started up again this happened numerous times I told my son he couldn't drive the car because I felt it was unsafe. I called the gm they gave me a coupon to have the a diagnostic check on it. In sept I went to the dealer and he scanned my car for codes I was told I needed a right front hub part number 13582664, a right wheel speed sensor harness, 10340314, accelerator pedal, 84018392, and a vent valve 2085252. I can't believe a car dealers would let a person leave not informing the customer what a safety issue this is. I drove the car for a day because I couldn't afford to fix it and was trying to come up with the money again the car died on me as I went to accelerate now the car is sitting in my yard dead as a doornail. I called the dealer and explain the situation to the dealer at lannan Chevrolet in woburn and I spoke with the owner and the only response I got was what do you want there's a hundred thousand miles on the car I have been doing lots of research on this particular vehicle and I'm appalled between a 2008 and a 2011 there has been hundreds of complaints about the same issue. These are safety issues where people can get killed. Out of all these safety issues there's not one investigation that has been opened in regards to the issues. Nhtsa or gm needs to open an investigation immediately on these cars. There is a major safety issue and a recall is necessary. VIN number. . (xxxxx) redacted to protect personally identifiable information pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u. S. C. 552(b)(6).
Car would not start and all of my sensors are going off needing to be serviced. Then it goes away. I drove it the day before with no problems. Go to my car the next day and all of my sensors are acting up.

While driving on city streets and the highway, the stablitrax lights come on then service indicators displays: service stablitrax, front camera, and power steering. The car slows down significantly and the power steering then locks up until you dismiss all of the codes. Then you can hear a clicking that sounds like the car is trying to restart. It happens sporadically. I took it to a shop and he stated to check for recalls because there have been quite a few Impalas being brought in for the same reason. I contacted chevy and they stated that there are no known recalls for my make and model.
The service air bag light keeps coming on while we are driving our car. And I'm worried that the air bags will not deploy in a accident, or they may deploy while driving down the road. I don't want to disable the air bags but not knowing why the light for the air bags is coming on. I have looked online to see what I can do about this and I have found out that this is happening a lot on the 2006-2014 Impalas. And people have taken there car in to the dealership to get fixed and the dealership can't figure out why this is happening. And they can't seem to fix it. Plus our service our traction control keeps coming on and the dealership can't figure out why this is happening. This seems to be the problem with this car and the dealership can't figure out why this is happening so they can't fix it. So I'm worried that this car isn't safe to drive because the air bags might not deploy in a accident or if they will just deploy driving down the road.

They recently had a recall for the 2014 chevy Impala for the brakes not disengaing the rotors causing not very good drivable condtions, but when I called and have them my gin number it says mine does not have a recall but my car is doing the very exact thing. And it does this while driving and like it stated can cause your wheel to burn and that's what happen to my car.
While driving 30 mph on city streets going straight with a slight incline the a/c and radio powered on and off several times. When stopped at a stop light the doors unlocked and "service stabilitrak" flashed on and off the dash, the radio powered down, and the a/c turned off. After a few second everything went back to normal. No check engine lights came on at all. This is not the first time this has happened.
Driving car made right turn and lost power steering. Service indicator text appeared to warn me. Track control and stabitrack was also affected.
I have a message saying service side detection. It has been on for months and didn't seem to be a big deal. It now has caused a bunch of other messages to come up to service. Everything on my dashboard stop working (speedometer, gas gauge, etc. ) my heat is effected and at one point, my car wouldn't start for several days.
Started my vehicle and power steering warning came on, dismissed it, stability control warning appeared, dismissed it, traction control light and abs light remained on. This occurred when leaving a friend's driveway and driving onto a county road. The power steering was inoperative! took vehicle to repair shop. Mechanic found left rear wheel speed sensor ring broken. This should not happen! there are 50215 miles on this car and it is very well maintained.
The abs light on traction control does not work key comes out of the ingiton causeing the car to stall front passenger air bag is turned off.
My reduce engine power light, service stabilitrak light and abs light is on also check engine light. Car will not go ove 30 to 40 mph. The car will reduce speed on the highway. And streets. I live in illinois. I've done tried everything. The car was in the shop for over a month cost me $1500 to fix every issues the mechanic thought was wrong and the car still have the same issues. I have even just recently brought a new gas cap because that light kept saying tighten. This can be really stressful. I dont think I will ever buy another chevy car again. As I research my issue just by typing in the problems without giving the make and model of car. I see all these problems are only with chevy vechiles. What do I do?.
Stabilitrack has been messing up since I purchased this vehicle in October 2018. My car is scary to drive. Sometimes its not clear what gear I'm in. The car will not go over 5 miles per hour when the stabilitrack is messing up. The backup camera does not work when the stabilitrack light is on and sometimes it will not go in reverse. I have to wait and keep turning the car off then wait then try to start it. Stabilitrack needs a recall. I could not back out of my parking spot this morning because of the stabilitrack. It feels like the whole motor moved when I tried to reverse. There were no lights on the panel to know what gear I was in but it wad clear it skipped the reverse. When it finaly let me back up after turning the car on and off several times I could only eccelerate 3 miles per hour.
While driving on the interstate the car has shut off and the lights pop up saying rear stability, abs anti theft detection, and the check engine light. The car has done this three times so far with my child in the car.
Whenever I turn the steering wheel to the left, the stabilitrack and abs dashboard lights come on and the read-out panel says both systems need service and these lights stay on and the systems shut-off making the vehicle less safe. I should point out that the lights come on when the pavement is drive and its warm out. Why is this happening to the relatively new car with barely 50,000 miles. The car is designed to be driven with the stabilitrack and abs systems working properly. I've looking into this on-line and it appears many people with Impala's are experiencing the same issue. People have paid to have paid to have the wheel bearing assemblies replace, brakes replace, sensors replaces, only to have the "service" light come back on soon after the service has been completed. From my reading, it appears gm needs to issue a recall to fix this issue. Thank you.
Takata recall I keep having the abs light along with traction control light turn on every other day and in mornings it disappears as I drive. Car has 60129 miles on it and I have read on Impala forums it is common but no recalls issued yet.
Traction control light and chime on and off. . . . . . . . . . . . . . Car runs ok but chime will drive you crazy. . . . . . . . . . . . . Need to turn it off. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
Transmission tends to long shift at 1st and 2nd gears causing erratic shifting uphill and sometimes turns. Unsafe! jasper engines and transmissions did update for clutch plates and pressure solenoid for this is known to be a problem. Hesitated acceleration whim going uphill. First trans was installed in 2016 October.
Reduced engine power, stabilitrac and traction control messages. While driving 2010 Impala . Comes on without warning car loses power down to 20 mph I was driving 55 mph on highway pulled over shut car off waited few minutes car restarted then not 5 minutes later did same thing only this time engine shut off was able to coast off road thank goodness called gm they told me it was out of warranty but was under special conditions . Take it to gm dealer so few days later got in it to take to dealer ,no lights on drove fine . Dealer told me to bring it back if and when warning lights came on again wow! read this same issue on forums gm should have a recall on this very dangerous issue . Called gm back after getting home they more less told me yes it should have been a recall but it isn't so have good day the cost is on you.
While driving, the car in motion it completely loses power. Have experienced this while on highway, interstate, and in town roads. So problem occurs at any speed, and results in vehicle coasting to a stop as the steering and brakes stop working too. Has happened to me hundreds of times as we can not pin point problem, and has replaced numerous different parts trying to solve it. When power loss occurs there is very little to no time at all for driver to coast & steer vehicle & occupants to safety area on side of road. The dashboard information center will state "starting disabled, service throttle" also engine power reduced" and "service stablitrak. " a new throttle has been put in vehicle and still does same thing. Over the year ive been dealing with this issue ive noticed it does it more in warm weather. After vehicle coast to a stop and is put in park and turned off, wait 5 to 10 minutes then vehicle will start up and no information or lights display in dash center, like it never happened.
