One problem related to brake loud noise has been reported for the 1998 Chevrolet K1500. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
While driving 25 mph consumer heard a loud noise coming from the front. Consumer was able to maintain control of the vehicle, and drove it to a body shop for inspection. Mechanic determined that the rotors and brakes needed to be replaced due to worn parts. Brake disk rotar failed. Rotar surface broke off completely resulting in complete loss of brake in the front right wheel.
