One problem related to front seat belt webbing has been reported for the 1998 Chevrolet K1500. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Driver's side seat belt retractor housing has plastic opening. Friction from seat belt motion has caused the belt to wear through the opening's edge and cut a slot into the housing, and the belt itself has become frayed and catches in the opening. Contact me for a digital photo of belt and housing.
