Windshield Wiper/washer problems of the 1998 Chevrolet K1500

Windshield wiper on 1998 K1500 pickup operates intermittently, sometimes stopping while operating, at other times not operating when turned on, and other times continuing to run when turned off or running constant when in the intermittent mode. Sounds identical to the problems covered in gm recall no. 03023.

Windshield wipers quit working. Sometimes they are slow. Sometimes they are regular. Problem is getting worse so I will have to get it fixed. Fortunately I have not been caught in a bad rainstorm.
