Electrical System Problems of Chevrolet K1500

Traveling 25 miles home on interstate van had been cutting out if I pull over stop wait, can re-start and go a while. Cant predict it seemed to stay running if I went faster big mistake moved to pass it quit, at interstate speeds almost had to go into medium after yelling and waving arms and praying I got back into the right lane pulled off onto shoulder and went to pieces. It then stopped more and more finally got home and have not touched it since. I have been reading about similar events and it seems it is the crankcase positioning sensor. I am just happy to be alive. Need to fix it and sell it. Thanks for listening I am senior citizen.

Speedometer sticks.

Vehicle was parked. The driver opened the door by remote control and noticed smoke was coming from the driver's door. The remote inside of the door caught on fire. Driver extinguished fire, and had the vehicle towed to the dealer for analysis. The mechanic noticed that the switch needed to be replaced due to an electrical short.

When driving consumer smelled burning odor coming from the dashboard. Heater blower switch melted, causing the burning smell.

1998 Chevrolet, K1500,4x4, 5. 7 vortec at about 40,000 miles had to have intake manifold gasket replaced, windshield wiper motor works and then doesn't,master cylinder has failed twice,d/s electric window works and then doesn't and rear turn signal housing and connection on right side keeps failing, not bulb! also leak resulting in loss of coolant from reservoir, in the middle of underneath vehicle. Bought new!.

Consumer has been experiencing static electric shock. Took ownership of vehicle from the dealer;. Dealer notified and he refused to inspect the vehicle. Condition still occurs. Also manufacturer notified.
