The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the sensor in the computer malfunctioned and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired; however, it sporadically had an abnormal burning odor. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue. The failure mileage was approximately 72,000.
