The front passenger seat belt on my 2007 chevy mailibu has stitching that does not allow it to position itself easily on smaller persons. The seatbelt often does not fit snug because the stitching does not slide easily through the buckle so the lap belt isn't sitting snugly. I have already had it in twice and the belt they reorder has the same problems and they say that they can't do anything more.

Drivers shoulder belt tightens with any movement and the consumer has to release the belt from the buckle to get any relief. 3 weeks ago seat belt was replaced to correct the problem but this has not completely remedied the problem. Dealer was notified.

When getting into the vehicle and trying to use the shoulder seat belts, they are retracting slowly on the driver's side. On passenger's side there was a hole in the door panel due to the seat belt hanging out of vehicle when consumer was getting out. Dealer can't determine the problem.

All seat shoulder belts had to be replaced at a cost of us$100. Plus labor due to the plastic breaking off and the internal spring scratching my hand. This also prevents the seat belt from retaining a small child safety chair.
