After driving, when you go to turn the key/ignition back, it only turns back to where the radio, lights, and wipers stay on. The ignition will not turn all the back. Also, they key will come out of the ignition in any position, even while the car is in gear. I received a recall notice in August 2014 stating that as soon as parts are in, I could go and get the key ring replaced, but I have yet to receive the notice about parts for this recall. I have never had my car key on a key ring, even before the recall. I also read about a recall on ignitions of some chevy models back in June. I am not sure if this is related to the recall but something has to be done because I have to jump my car off every morning, or after long periods of time due to the ignition being stuck in the "on" position. This is eventually going to kill my alternator, and whatever else chooses to go next. This time consuming and inconvenient, and the fact that you can pull the key out of the ignition while driving is too dangerous! please help!.

Since September of 2013 this is around the 5th time this happens. When you turn the ignition to start the car the engine just won't turn over. Then after a while it starts. All the other electrical things happen like lights, radio but the engine just won't turn and it's not the battery. A couple months ago it happened again in the morning and in the afternoon after work I took it to dealership and they could not find the problem as it did not happen with them. They could not mimic the problem so they could not figure what was wrong.
