Front Suspension Control Arm problems of the 1996 Chevrolet S10

1 Front Suspension Control Arm problem

Failure Date: 07/20/2001

Balljoint broke thur afame when going thur accident area. Thought I got a flat but tire was laying on its side.

2 Front Suspension Control Arm problem

Failure Date: 05/04/2001

Getting on the freeway front end wobble thought it was a flat but the front ball joint had broken tire ended up sideways had to get it towed.

3 Front Suspension Control Arm problem

Failure Date: 04/09/2001

While driving at approximately 30 to 35 mph heard a bang from front of vehicle which caused steering wheel to jerk. Consumer was able to bring vehicle to a stop at side of road. A private mechanic inspected vehicle, and stated that front control arm broke. Please provide any additional information/attachments.

4 Front Suspension Control Arm problem

Failure Date: 05/04/2000

Ball joints broke which may have caused a loss of vehicle control. Dealer replaced ball joints 2 years ago. Dealer cannot determine the cause of the problem. Please provide further information.

5 Front Suspension Control Arm problem

Failure Date: 02/01/2000

New front upper and lower ball joints and a pitman arm is needed.

6 Front Suspension Control Arm problem

While driving 30 mph front passenger's side tire nearly came off due to a broken ball joint. Please give any further details.
