Two problems related to front air bag sensor control have been reported for the 1997 Chevrolet S10. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Air bag light continuously illuminated on the dashboard. Also, engine stalled, and there were no power brakes or power steering. It was an a electrical problem.
Air bag light remained on. Dealer notified, and ran it through diagnostic. Informed consumer that sensor needed replacement, and it would be at consumer's cost. Please feel free to provide any further deatils on this matter.
