Two problems related to hood latch have been reported for the 1997 Chevrolet S10. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Hood latch and safety catch failed allowing hood to blow back against the windshield while driving.
Hood latch failed to retain hood causing it to bend back, crack the windshield, break plastic cowling and damage hood. Nlm.
