Two problems related to steering have been reported for the 1997 Chevrolet S10. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The steering is binding. When making turns there is no free play in the steering wheel, and the wheel does not straighten out when letting go of the steering wheel, this causes over steering to straighten up the wheels.
Vehicle steering design results in over steering due to over sensitivity.
