Front Air Bag problems of the 1999 Chevrolet S10

1 Front Air Bag problem

Failure Date: 04/02/2005

While driving 70 mph front air bags inadvertently deployed. Consumer did not hit anything. Dealership will be notified of the problem.

2 Front Air Bag problem

Failure Date: 08/02/2002

While traveling at 55 mph hit a deer and front end of was smashed and totalled. Upon impact, none of the airbags deployed. Dealer has been contacted.

3 Front Air Bag problem

Failure Date: 10/06/2001

Consumer's vehicle was traveling on highway and another vehicle hit it. Upon impact, dual airbags didn't deploy. Dealership was aware of problem.

4 Front Air Bag problem

Failure Date: 05/11/2000

While going about 45 mph, 1400 pound cow was in the middle of the round in front of vehicle. Then it hit the side of the truck, and airbags didn't deploy.

5 Front Air Bag problem

While driving at 40 mph, vehicle struck a light pole head on and air the bags did not deploy.
