One problem related to automatic transmission gear indicator has been reported for the 2000 Chevrolet S10. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Consumer got out of vehicle and took 2 steps, then heard a series of clicking noises, looked around and vehicle was rolling down the hill. Vehicle hit his friend's vehicle. Consumer called Chevrolet, and they sent a representative to his home, hooked vehicle up to a computer, and tried to get the vehicle to reproduce the clicking and rolling. The Chevrolet representative parked consumer's vehicle on the hill and still it did not do it again.
