Failure Date: 07/14/2004

On July 14, 2004 near westminster mall lower ball joint of my 2000 chevy S10 brock. I took my vehicle sears auto center which was across the street and had it fixed. According to website there were 7 incidents similar to mine.

2 Front Suspension Lower Ball Joint problem

Failure Date: 06/01/2003

Lower right ball joint failing uneven tire wear,34000 miles.

3 Front Suspension Lower Ball Joint problem

Failure Date: 05/19/2003

Failure of right front wheel bearing. In past three months have also had to replace left wheel bearing assembly and lower ball joint, as well as effected tire. Have spent over $750 in parts and labor on this vehicle for these failure in past 90 days. Mechanic says to expect problems with wheel bearings to continue in future.

4 Front Suspension Lower Ball Joint problem

Failure Date: 04/04/2003

Left wheel bearing assembly failure, caused brake failure (due to fraying of brake sensor). Mechanic warns this will be a recurring problem with this vehicle. Recently also had to replace lower ball joint in same vehicle.

5 Front Suspension Lower Ball Joint problem

Failure Date: 02/27/2003

Lower ball joint, lower control arm, one side (b) had to be replaced, along with tire (other front tire previously replaced for irregular wear); problem found upon yearly state inspection.

6 Front Suspension Lower Ball Joint problem

Failure Date: 07/15/2001

Lower ball joint was replaced at 38,000 miles. Currently, problem has reoccurred. Dealer notifed. Feel free to provide any further information.

7 Front Suspension Lower Ball Joint problem

Within 25,000 of purchasing the vehicle lower ball joints wore out prematurely, and were replaced. At 53,000 miles, the lower ball joints were replaced again. The cause of the premature wear had not been determined.

8 Front Suspension Lower Ball Joint problem

Left and right lower ball joints were very loose causing excessive tire wear. Yh.
