Two problems related to front seat recliner have been reported for the 2002 Chevrolet S10. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
2002 S10 seat reclining adjustment control handle breaks off with no control of position of safe position of seating for driver. I had same problem with a 1999.
Passenger seat does not lock in place until pushed all the way back-cannot do that if someone is in the 3rd seat.
