One problem related to rear suspension springs has been reported for the 2002 Chevrolet S10. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Noticed several days after purchase truck leaning 1. 5 inches on drivers side, front and rear. Contacted dealer, they instructed to bring in after 1500 miles. Brought in at 2600 miles. After 1. 5 months, dealer repair was to put stronger springs on left front, left rear, arch rear springs and fabricate shims (2) which were placed between frame and body. Gm calls this fixed. I am not satisfied, and concerned about vehicle handling and safety possibly comprimised.
