One problem related to brake antilock control unit/module has been reported for the 1997 Chevrolet Silverado. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Consumer states: abs brakes activated while stopping at low speed as a result the vehicle would not stop. Abs sensor has been replaced 3 times. Dealer is aware of the problem.
