While traveling at 30 mph, consumer pressed brakes to avoid hitting a deer and vehicle started to slide. Consumer states abs locked up. Driver and passenger sustained injuries, passenger sustained injury to vocal cord due to seatbelt failure.
Brakes locked up while the consumer was driving 25-35 mph, causing vehicle to crash into a tree. Contacted dealer who was not willing to do anything. . Consumer has documentation that the abs module malfunctioned, there were 2 injuries, consumer does not believe that the recall on the seat belts was not repaired.
Consumer received recall notification about front seat belt retractors consumer took vehicle in for replacement seat belts, but when she got the vehicle back she states the seat belts did not fit properly, consumer states she is constantly pulling seat belt out of her throat, before the repair there were no problems with the belt sliding into her neck and choking her, consumer states she spends most of her time pulling the seat belt away from her, consumer went back to dealership to try and get the old seat belts back and dealership told her that the reason for the recall was because people were complaing that the seat belt was too tight and it limited their movement, she was told by dealership that they did not know where her old seat belts were and that she could purchase a clip that might help the problem with the seat belt cutting across her throat, consumer does not believe that she should have to pay for a clip, because of a design flaw with their seat belts (daughter on behalf of mother).

Driver's seatbelt will not hold. Beginning of seatbelt will go in top part. Then, retractor will not hold. Dealership was aware of problem. *akthe seat belts were recalled but after recall repair the seat now locks up during general driving making it difficult to lean forward in the vehicle with the seat belt on. Nlm.
This vehicle was rebuilt and the dealer tells me it has a "warranty block" on the VIN. I understand why this is done but I am told that this also blocks any recall campaign work from being done under warranty. This vehicle has not had any campaign work done to it. Is it legal for gm to not pay for the repairs to the brake system and seat belt system on this truck?.
Passenger's side restraint ratchets back, and does not allow passenger enough room. The seat belt had been replaced twice, but still tightens up and is uncomfortable and dangerous.
Consumer does not use the seat belt system. When the seat belts are interlocked they tighten up so tight that the consumer cannot move. They have replaced seat belt system, and the new one also doesn't work . The dealer has been contacted.
