Two problems related to fuel injection have been reported for the 2002 Chevrolet Silverado. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Consumer had an eight cylinder vehicle that operated as if it was 4 cylinders. Vehicle shook/hesitated and lost power. Consumer tried to accelerate on the highway but vehicle had no power. Vehicle had been in the repair shop 5 times for the same problem, and it kept happening. Consumer was told by mechanic that it was the fuel injection system, but mechanic could not resolve the problem.
The fuel injector leaked diesel gas onto the engine.
