2 Brake Abs Warning Light problem

Failure Date: 02/24/2014

The brake lines on this truck are so rusted so are the fuel lines I'm surprised even stops or that the fuel lines haven't burst yet I have abs light on and service brake system because everything is so rusted and now have a short somewhere so anytime you hit a bump warning light flashes and it starts dinging and warning lights flashes service brake system. . . There is no reason for this to be rusted like it does this vehicle is washed at least once a week it is in immaculate shape.

3 Brake Abs Warning Light problem

Failure Date: 07/18/2005

Dt:contact stated the braking system was defective. The pedal went down very far and was spongy. It took a long time for the truck to stop. The consumer stated pumping the pedal did not help. Contact bought vehicle new and was having this problem somewhat since he purchased it, but did not realize it was so bad until he drove other vehicles. This happens at any speed. The dealer said it was operating as designed. The consumer stated the abs light came on. When the consumer drove 45 mph down a gravel road, and applied the brakes, there was no abs function and the wheels did not lock. Although the truck did eventually stop, it took a great distance to do so. The steering shaft was replaced.
