Tl - the contact owns a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado. The contact stated that after receiving recall repairs for a blower resistor, he stated that the blower failed as a result the wiring harness and control module started to melt down. The vehicle was taken to the dealer who was unable to diagnosed if the failure was directly connected to the recall. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure who offer to pay for half of the repair cost. The VIN was not available. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 80,000 and current mileage was 112,000. Pm.
