Driveshaft problems of the 2004 Chevrolet Silverado

Two problems related to driveshaft have been reported for the 2004 Chevrolet Silverado. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Driveshaft problem

2004 chevy Silverado xcab 4x4 1500 shutter in rear cab area?replaced drive shaft/now instrument cluster broke/changed out shocks/changed factory tires/will not brake manufactures gmvw+tow package/have sued Chevrolet for $6000/I'll do it again!drivers side steering /shock/tire pounding in 50000 miles highway what next in 2 years.

2 Driveshaft problem

Failure Date: 11/15/2005

: the contact stated while in motion the transmission slipped and jerked intermittently. The vehicle was taken to the local dealership for inspection. The dealer greased the driveshaft with hi-temperature grease on the spleen. At 2000 miles later, while driving at 70 mph, the driveshaft sheared, broke away from the transmission and rear end. The contact lost control of the vehicle. However the vehicle was able to be pulled onto the emergency lane. The vehicle was towed to the local dealership where the dealer replaced the driveshaft and transmission.
