2 Automatic Transmission Gear Indicator problem

Failure Date: 04/17/2010

This is problem(s) that has been intermittent for a couple a years shortly after I purchased the vehicle but did not mention anything because it was so intermittent. . . . First the illumination level seemed to dim every once in a while for many areas such as the gear (prnd), the speedometer, the temp control levels. Next the speedometer did not reflect correct speed sometimes even when you were parked. These symptoms were initially intermittent but now are more predominant. Now this at times is a real problem and even a safety issue.

3 Automatic Transmission Gear Indicator problem

Failure Date: 01/25/2010

Hello, I have a 2005 chevy Silverado with 76,000 miles on it, the problem is with the gear selector illumination in the dash gauge cluster I can not tell what gear it is in unless it is very cloudy or dark, I am worried that the truck could put it in reverse instead of drive or vise versa.
