One problem related to rear suspension axle has been reported for the 2006 Chevrolet Silverado. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
: the contact stated that while entering into a driveway at a speed of 5 mph the vehicle hit a pothole detaching the center bolt on the rear axle. This caused the axle to slide back 8 inches from the spring. The incident was reported to the manufacturer who determined there was no recourse of action.
