The tires were labeled as having a lifespan up to 60,000 miles but the failure occurred at 16,000 miles. The manufacturer was contacted and advised that they had never seen the failure in the manner in which it occurred. There were no repairs. The dot number and VIN were not available. The vehicle failure mileage was 44,085.
