Safety latch on spare tire winch lowering system won't dis engage. Spare tire can't be accessed to replace flat tire. I believe this is a safety issue, especially when stranded on the road shoulder exposed to high speed traffic. The aaa tow truck driver said that this a frequent problem with gm products and has since been redesigned. Shouldn't gm fix their previous mistakes.
