Tl- the contact owns a 2008 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. The contact stated that while driving approximately 60 mph a suddenly banging and rattling noise was present coming from the engine. The vehicle was shut off and towed to an independent mechanic who diagnosed that a piston in the engine had blown. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact also indicated that the passenger side front window module had malfunctioned and the window could not be opened. The manufacturer was notified of the failures.
