1 Brake Disc Pads problem

Failure Date: 06/29/2022

Braking system has been a problem for a long time. The vehicle was taken to a local repair shop. There the mechanics replaced the front brake pads and rear brake pads. We continued to have problems with the vehicle. We were not aware of the recommendations till recently so we took the vehicle in to dealer. Mileage was 169201. The brakes were first inspected 6-29-22. The mileage at that time was well below your cutoff of 150,000 miles or 10 years. The dealers handling of this does seem unreasonable. This is my husbands vehicle I really dont know exactly what happened and what dates. While backing up his trailer has been a problem several dents on the side of it shows braking problems. I think 1900. 00 is extreme to repair what your company is well aware of is a problem. Your customers should have been notified this was possible rather than leaving them to figure out where to have it checked. I hope this will convince your company to do what is right. That will determine what vehicle we will purchase next.

2 Brake Disc Pads problem

Failure Date: 07/20/2019

We were driving in sevierville, TN in very busy tourist traffic going about 25 mph with 2 babies in the back and pulling a trailer with a polaris ranger. When I went to hit the brakes, there was no movement of the brake pedal. I couldn't press it in unless I used 2 feet and applied hard pressure. Once the brakes were pushed all the way in, it used enough brake to come to a stop. The mechanic said we need a new vacuum pump and brake pads. This could have been much worse if we would have made it to the interstate.

3 Brake Disc Pads problem

Failure Date: 12/04/2018

Whenevr I back the truck up at slow speeds, the brakes temporarily fail for approximately 1-3 feet. Coming to a stop at slow speeds can also cause the truck to take extra distance to stop. I have changed to new brake pads, turned the rotors, and purchased new tires. The truck bounces severely when traveling at speeds over 50 mph on concrete roads. Only on concrete. Asphalt has normal ride as soon as the road transitions then the truck bounces.

4 Brake Disc Pads problem

Failure Date: 11/26/2018

Truck has become very hard to stop latley. Brake pads look new. Dealer says nothing is wrong. Almost rear ended multiple cars this month. Thinking of just trading it in on a ram. Truck doesn't want to stop!!!.

5 Brake Disc Pads problem

Failure Date: 11/17/2016

Front brakes completely worn at 12,000 miles. Dealer replaced rotors and pads free of charge. Vehicle now has 20,000 miles on it, and front pads are worn prematurely again.
