Tl- the contact owns a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. The contact stated that while driving at 80 mph, while depressing the brake pedal to slow the vehicle down, the brake pedal failed. In addition, the contact stated that he had to use both feet applying excessive force to the brake pedal to bring the vehicle to a complete stop. The service brake warning light illuminated. The contact was able to drive the vehicle to bob ruwart motor dealer (2105 16th st, whatland, wy 82201, (307) 269-0091) but was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 41,000. Aw.
The trailer brake system light keeps coming on and I have never hooked up to a trailer that has brakes. This lights comes on sporadically. Concerned as I have heard that Chevrolet uses too light of wire in their light trucks. The truck is in motion when this happens. It comes on in all driving conditions (city, freeway, highways, gravel roads. . . ).
