The vehicle was quickly maneuvered off the road. The vehicle was turned off and restarted. An independent mechanic diagnosed the vehicle and found two unknown diagnostic trouble codes. The contact was informed to check with the dealer. Keyes Chevrolet (5949 van nuys blvd, sherman oaks, CA 91401, (818) 933-3000) indicated that the vehicle was not under warranty or included in a recall. The dealer stated that the engine would need to be taken apart for further extensive diagnostic testing. The vehicle was not repaired.
