The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 40,000.

The contact managed to steer the vehicle to the shoulder of the road. Where then the contact has to turn the vehicle off and back on in order for the vehicle to resume back to normal. The vehicle was taken to the dealer cutter Chevrolet 711 ala moana blvd, honolulu, hi 96813 (877) 471-1766 where a diagnosed test was performed but was unable to determined the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact stated that the dealer updated the eps module software about a year ago. The contact referenced NHTSA campaign: 18v586000(steering) as a possible solution however the VIN was not included in the recall at this time. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure.
