Goodyear tires delaminating ! goodyear wrangler sra, lt265/60r20e traveling on I-40 in arizona in October 2016 and a rear tire comes apart for no apparent reason with only 24k on the truck. Safely stopped the truck and installed the spare tire. Thankfully no one was killed or injured and the truck and r/v did not roll over and crash ! now feeling bumping in the other three tires due to onset of delamination. Took truck to the chevy dealer in lake havasu city and they told me. . . We will replace the one tire that has grossly came apart but. . . Nope sorry we can't do anything with the others "we don't see a bubble" the dealer in has told me to "run them there fine". These tires are separating too and if I do as the dealer suggests by "run them there fine" and another one lets go and I wreck out killing my wife and children and smear bodies all over the highway, who's on the hook ??? disgusting how this dealerships decisions about an entire families safety and that on the general public is based on nothing more them profit !!!.

Could not remove spare tire from vehicle. The cable lowered the tire until the secondary catch restricted the lowering any further. Followed owners manual to resolve issue, did not work. Cranked spare tire back to mounted position. Took vehicle to dealer, they had to cut the cable and unbolted the mechanism from the vehicle. The secondary catch was accessed and released from the side. The unit is no longer functional and a new unit is well over $100. I now have access to the spare but not the factory mounting position. Glad I don't get a flat tire on the highway.

I was towing my fifth wheel trailer when I noticed the truck started bouncing violently. I looked in my side mirror and noticed the rear wheel wobbling, so I pulled over and changed to my spare tire. I continued driving for approximately another 20 miles when the bouncing started again. It was the other rear tire. I had to call someone to bring me another tire in order to make it back home. I am putting (4) new tires on the truck. The truck is a 2001 chevy 2500hd with only 24000 miles on it. Both tires have tread separation on them.
