Tl- the contact owns a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado 3500. The contact stated that while driving 30mph, the engine stalled, made growling noise and lost power. The vehicle was put in neutral and was pulled to the side of the road. The contact, an independent mechanic, checked the vehicle and observed a fuel injector failure. He restarted the engine and failure recurred. The manufacturer was notified of the failure but stated that the vehicle was out of warranty and that there was no recall.
