I believe there are some issues with the cars wirings. For the past few months in the middle of driving my brake warning signal and traction signal will come on the speedometer and the car will start making a dinging noise. The light never go off and maybe 30 minutes to an hour they start going off again.

I was driving on the highway and the engine light comes on. The car starts to stall. I went and got the codes read. Everything came back that its the transmission. Chevy claims they're not sure if the warranty will cover all the cost. The place I got the car from didn't even provide me with any carfaxs. I called them and they didn't give any solution. I am disappointed.
Car motor will not shut off when key is not in the ignition and ignition is in the off position. Car is still drive-able, it will switch gears and is able to be driven. Motor continues to run. Had to shut down car by taking out a fuse under the hood. Car is able to restart using key. A week later car motor will turn off, but the inside chime is going off, leaving car parked! I read other reports on the exact same issue.
The left front speaker in my 2013 Chevrolet Spark started to sporadically go out and has now gone out completely. This means I have no warning chimes. It doesn't matter if I have the car stationary or moving.

My 2013 Chevrolet Spark LS ac started to have very insufficient ac last summer in 2016. Then the ac started to stop working now in April 2017 (when vehicle is stationary and in motion). It's going to be intolerable in the summer time without ac. I have seen many other complaints on the 2013 chevy Spark. The gm company does not want to help me get it fixed after me contacting them several times about this issue.
I was in a very bad car accident and not one of my air bags deployed . It is squished it was hit in the front very hard which would allow the airbags to poof out and help in these situations. I was headed down an off ramp onto turn pike and a car came to a complete stop swerved to merge and car infant of me did the same and we collided.
Slowly pulled car into the driveway. Entered the garage with my foot on the brake. Half way into garage, the engine over accelerated and made the car lunge forward. My foot was still on the brake pedal. The brakes went into abs mode, with pulsating. The car rammed into some storage totes and also my snowblower. The over acceleration of the engine stopped. All of this took about 10 - 15 seconds. No amount of pressure on the brake pedal stopped this car. No, I did not have my foot on the gas pedal. The car went into my local chevy dealer 2 days later. I was told that they ran some tests, had it up on a lift & even had a mechanic take it out to try to duplicate the problem. Of course, they couldn't find anything wrong. Someone needs to do something about all these over & under acceleration problems before lives are lost! my car has a few minor dents on the hood, from falling totes my snowblower is slightly dented but my nerves are shot. I am really scared to drive this car.
The head restraints are too far forward. If I adjust the seat to sit up straight, then my head is too far forward. So I have to lean back in my seat in order for my head to be straight. After only one month of driving, my back is killing me!.

The traction control light along with the break light constantly come on. I have had my car looked at twice and was told nothing was wrong but these lights come on when I am sitting idle and when I am driving. Scares the hell out of me. Makes me think my car is going to cut off.
12 trips to dealership, 70 days in shop, 5 dealerships, 3 states. The car cannot accelerate to safe speeds from a complete stop. Our ramps are metered and the car just won't go, have to have the car shimmy before it will go and the foot all the way down to the floor. Gm states that this is normal. It's worse when the ac or heater was on, gm recommendation is to not drive with ac or heater on as it makes the car seem like it's under a heavy load. Also smell emits from vent that is making people sick. Took to fire station as the symptoms present like carbon monoxide. Dealerships have confirmed it's some sort of chemical but they don't know what it is. Doesn't matter if car is being driven or running while sitting still. Fire department said no CO so now looking at having it tested at a air quality lab.

Not even 10,000 miles in I had a tire gets a bubble on the sidewall. The dealership would not cover it or swap it out saying it could have been due to hitting a pothole or curb. 15,000 miles in driving down the highway and hear a loud bang and the ac doesn't work. I take it in and the dealership says I could have hit road debris and would not cover any work on the ac, I would have to pay out of pocket. About a week later I get a letter in the mail about the ac recall and find out my compressor exploded on the inside due to faulty parts. 20,000 miles in and the car was eating a quart of oil every 2-3 days and still draining it and ran rough. The dealership said they have no idea what it is and they would not help in what they called "looking for problems that can't be reproduced". Then not even a month later I get a letter about the recall and how I need to bring it in as quick as I can because some people 'may' be experiencing excess oil consumption, due to faulty parts. 40,000 miles in I'm getting the tcs light on with the cel flashing at me and the car stutters and looses power all while on the highway. Gives the code of p0324 (knock control system error). Dealership says it could be due to being driven rough and it is my fault. I shouldn't be driving 80 in a chevy Spark (the highway speeds in texas). The engine has a loud lifter tick in the heads. Dealership refuses to open them without a fault code that indicates a head issue. 47,000 miles in I have more misfires and error codes. Taking it back to the dealership to see what their excuse is this time.
Have a 2013 chevy Spark. It has already had an engine replaced at just over 20,000 miles and continues to have the same problems as before the engine was replaced. It continuously goes back and forth to the dealer, yet "no issues or codes" are ever found. To me this car is a potential death trap every time it's driven. It continuously shows the engine light. . . Blinking away. . . Along with the traction control that frequently is on with it. It then revs extremely high and you can't go over 20 miles an hour because of fear the car will explode. It also shakes during all of this. These are all the same problems that the car has had since before the first engine decided to just blow. . . On a highway. . . Just over 20,000 miles. Please also note that there have been multiple recalls, for this car as well. Cute car. . . But it ends there. It's a death trap on wheels!! there should be a major recall and class action lawsuit on these cars!.
You turn the engine off but the key does not come out of the ignition. I took it to bob bell, they could not get it out either. They order a new one and replaced it on may 28th. I had to pay some kind of deductible(100. 00, which I think is ridiculous) and gm was going to pay the rest. June 6, same thing happened twice in the same day. I could not call because at that time the service dept is closed. I will be calling again today. Probably will get some kind of run around.
Car accelerates on its own when braking which is highly dangerous in traffic as car jumps forward when it does this. Continuously runs at over 4000rpm. Car stalls when accelerating making pulling out into traffic or coming off an exit ramp quite difficult and will rev on its own while driving. Continuous engine noise as if car is being redlined. Car also has difficulty going in reverse. Emergency brake does not hold properly. Car will roll backward when in drive and on a small incline. Electrical issues with car where stereo will spontaneously change stations and the dash lights will flicker. Have made complaints to gm continuously and had in dealership more than 11 times for repair of issue. Car was bought in Feb 2015, first taken in to dealership for issue in Feb 2015. It is now Feb 2016 and gm refusing to address issue. Car falls under lemon law and they are stalling to wait out time frame.
Went to chevy dealer for 2 recalls in August 2013. Recall 14110 resolved, but recall 14456 (hood latch) was not. Parts needed to be ordered. Having never received a phone call that parts were received, I was driving down the highway tonight and my hood flew up and shattered my windshield. Now my windshield is shattered, my hood is dented and both front quarter panels are bent where they meet the windsheild. I was lucky enough to pull over to the side of the highway while dodging traffic, not being able to see in front of me and drop the hood back down and make sure it was latched before driving another 15 miles home. Will Chevrolet cover all damages to my vehicle?? called my insurance tonight and have to talk to an adjuster in the morning.
While driving on the highway I was attempting to accelerate the vehicle but it did not respond and I had to pull to the side and let othe vehicles pass.
I get this loud annoying high pitched ringing sound coming from back wheels. The sound is so loud at times that pedestrians can hear it as I am driving down the street. It does this after I have been driving the car for 30 minutes or more. Once the ringing sound starts it will not stop no matter what speed I'm going or whether I am sitting in idol, park or in any gear. Chevrolet dealership repair department doesn't know what it is but said it may be the fuel pump. What concerns me is that the dealership repair department will not at least check the fuel pump which would eliminate this as the potential problem. It definitely is not a functional sound and it may be dangerous to continue to drive the car when it is making this sound.
I was driving down the street at 45 mph. It was at night. As soon as I went through the first green light, I accelerated (pushed on the gas). When I came upon the second light, I took my foot off the accelerator to brake. All of a sudden the accelerator was not working properly. It would not slow down. I tried applying the brakes, but it seemed as if the car was out of control. I could not steer right or anything. I hit to curbs and knocked down to city signs. The air bags did not deploy. The fire department along with ems got me out of the car. The car was totaled.
Car has excessive gas consumption. It is presently getting only 24. 9 miles to the gallon. Occasionally it will have a very strong sulfur odor coming from the exhaust pipe. I should be averaging about 34 miles per gallon with driving pattern which is a mix of city and highway mileage.
I experienced two instances of sudden unintended acceleration in mid April 2013. In the first instance, approx. 04/10/2013, my Spark struck a steel pole used to suspend a bird feeder next to my driveway, when shifting to reverse, and knocked it down, causing minor damage to the rear bumper. In the second instance, on 04/16/2013, my Spark suddenly accelerated and struck and severely damaged the chain link fence bordering my driveway, when shifting to drive, and struck and damaged my garage door when shifting to reverse. This caused approximately $3000. 00 damage to my car. Now I'm afraid to drive this car!.
