One problem related to air brake antilock has been reported for the 1997 Chevrolet Suburban. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Conditions were snow and ice. Both times I had recently switched between 2wd & 4wd. I don't recall which position drive was in. Both times depressing the brake pedal produced very little braking effect, with one time my car went thru a busy intersection (I thought I was lucky to not have accident).
