Engine problems of the 1999 Chevrolet Suburban

Two problems related to engine have been reported for the 1999 Chevrolet Suburban. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Engine problem

Failure Date: 05/26/2000

The brakes failed to engage at 40 mph. I stopped the vehicle with the emergency brake and began pumping the brakes. This has happened 4+ times. Dealer said it was normal. Engine misfires on all eight cylinders, this is also normal per dealer. Stearing jumps when turning they have tried to fix it and it is a little better. After dealer tried to fix vehiclel I lost about 2 mpg and had a reduced amout of power. Vehicle failed emmissions test and dealer said he would pass it.
